C & R's Wedding

I absolutely love Buena Vista Historic House in Prattville! It has the most beautiful, bright lighting inside its lovely rooms, and it is such a well kept historic home. I met with Rachael before the wedding day to do a bridal photoshoot. Bridal shoots give the bride a bit of a practice run for getting ready for the actual wedding day.

The house had gentle paint colors throughout and vintage furniture to top off the elegant look.

Just look at this gorgeous house! What a perfect place for a wedding.

Wedding day came one week after the bridal shoot. The weather was perfect, and everyone was excited! Rachael and Caleb decided on ice cream instead of a traditional cake, which was such a cool touch. I love how they put their personalities into their big day! The evening ended with a giant group lantern launch and a high-five send off isle that led to their get-away car.

Just recently revisited the hundreds of beautiful photos Shaniah captured at our wedding while printing for a scrapbook. And they took my breath away all over again!

On top of her photography skills, she was so easy and fun to work with. She guided the posing process (super helpful for someone like me who feels awkward during photo shoots), but also totally embraced the spur-of-the-moment ideas we threw out. And she sent sneak peeks of the photos so quickly that we got to reminisce and share before our honeymoon was over!

Shaniah is a joy to work with and my husband and I now have memories we get to treasure forever! Highly recommend.
