K.J. at the Bamboo Forest

Shaniah T.

I recently purchased a new lens and have been wanting to try it out! So, I asked Kaitlin to model for me. We decided to try a little place called the Wilderness Park, but it is more commonly known in the town of Prattville, AL as the Bamboo Forest. K was so much fun to work with! She was ready to try new poses, and she was even willing to walk out on a fallen log over the swampy pond. Large toads croaked constantly, so this was our background "music" while doing our shoot, and they made loud thuds when jumping into the murky water.

The lighting of this somewhat stormy, cloudy day added an extra element of feeling to the photos. Notice the overcast lighting. It just worked so well with this shoot style!

After this fun photo adventure, we chose to label this photoshoot as a senior session, and K later put these photos to good use. She's a doll!
